I run a SME based in Port Talbot and during 2013 was looking for some funding help to secure a share purchase scheme. This would in turn help develop and grow the business.

My initial search was with the obvious banking sector who turned out to be very poor indeed – they didn’t want to lend to my sector, the business was more than capable of dealing with the lending, but the banks continued to drag their feet. My impressions of Finance Wales has always been as a last resort principally due their expensive rates, so I had left them until the end of my search with banks.

How wrong I was!

Finance Wales were nothing short of excellent in their response – driven principally by Alun Thomas. The rates were very competitive and something that I thought would be a last resort, should have been the 1st point of contact. They seem to be filling a gap where the banks are reluctant to lend. The whole process for me was dealt with very, very quickly and with no real hassle.

My business is growing and expanding and Finance Wales will be the  1st organisation I will speak with should I need more help.

I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any business expanding
